All proceeds of the September 23rd gathering support Rockefeller University’s Dr. Michel Nussenzweig, who is developing a novel therapy for COVID-19. Dr. Nussenzweig’s potent monoclonal antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 entered clinical trials in fall 2020. He is using an approach he pioneered several years ago discovering and harnessing neutralizing antibodies against HIV. Gilead Sciences recently acquired the license to develop this new HIV antibody therapy. The Nussenzweig lab continues to spearhead the design of effective therapies against other known and emerging global infectious diseases.

The Karen Leung Foundation is proud to have presented the 8th Annual Sohn Hong Kong Virtual Investment Leaders Conference as a part of the virtual SohnX initiative. As with every year, the conference brought together Asia’s leading investors to support the fight against gynecological and pediatric cancers by promoting research, education, prevention and optimal treatment.
